In March 2023, the Department for Education (DfE) introduced new Filtering and Monitoring standards.

The KCSIE September 2023 policy placed special emphasis on the responsibilities of school staff for overseeing safeguarding and online safety. As part of the standards, schools and colleges must regularly check their filtering and monitoring systems, regularly review safeguarding needs and act on all safeguarding concerns.

Senior Leaders and Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) of schools and colleges should provide a safe online environment for pupils and staff on all school-related devices, both on-site and off-campus.

Assisted Monitoring

Content Filtering

Senso's cloud filter uses both ane extensive category-based libraries of inappropriate websites and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to check the content of every website a student tries to visit and gives staff real-time updates of newly categorised web addresses.

The software has 99.9% coverage of web traffic and can look up websites in 5 microseconds, meaning your student's web experience isn't affected.

Teams Monitoring

Do you need a way to monitor chat messages and images on Microsoft Teams unobtrusively? The software will monitor chat messages and use AI to scan and inspect every image sent via Teams. Users can also use the 'report a concern' function to report anything which has caused them concern directly from Teams.
